Students and Scouts Unite for Nature on World Environment Day

Holy Family High School enthusiastically observed World Environment Day on 5 June 2026 with the active participation of students, teachers, and Scouts & Guides. The programme aimed to create awareness about environmental conservation and encourage students to become responsible stewards of nature.

The celebration began with a special assembly highlighting the significance of World Environment Day and the urgent need to protect our environment. Students delivered inspiring messages on environmental sustainability and the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations.

As part of the observance, saplings were distributed and planted in various parts of the school campus. Members of the Scouts and Guides actively participated in the tree-planting drive, demonstrating their commitment to environmental protection. The students pledged to nurture the saplings and continue caring for the environment in their daily lives.

The programme successfully instilled environmental awareness among the students and reinforced the message that collective efforts are essential to combat climate change and protect our natural heritage. The observance concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to promote sustainable living and work towards a cleaner, healthier, and greener future.
